BROOKLYN’S FINEST
Brooklyn. B-town. BK. Whatever you want to call it, we loved it. As we’d been to the Big Apple a few months ago with pals, we knew that such a trip couldn’t and shouldn’t be rivaled so we jumped off the island and checked out Brooklyn. We found a cheap-for-New-York hotel room and explored the ‘other’ side of New York and it was, like, so hot right now. One night we had a 7 course dinner at lovely restaurant literally underneath the Brooklyn bridge. We then walked/rolled over to the Brooklyn wharf that looks back across to Manhattan, one of the best viewing platforms for NYC at night. It was magical to see the Big Apple in all it’s glittering glory and if we weren’t already married, pretty sure that one of us would have dropped the knee right then and there. Our highlight though was in Manhattan, specifically at a comedy club in Soho. And it wasn’t just any old comedy club. No way, Jose. The Comedy Cellar is said to be the best comedy club known to all funny buggers in the bizzo and our wheezing lungs were a good testament to boot. Kez has long been fans of stand up and The Comedy Cellar has showcased some of our favorites in the past like Louis CK, Russell Peters, Robin Williams, Artie Lang… Even Seinfeld and Chris Rock do surprise appearances here. It was a side splitting night with some of the most inappropriate and un-pc calls that would make Charlie Sheen gasp. Perfecto. The hysteria lasted till 2.30am when Ads announced it would be in our best interests to make our way home so we could get a good night’s sleep before our 5am flight bound for Florida. We’re pretty sensible like that.
WIN:
Gotta hear it for The Comedy Cellar. Kez declared it “Seriously Hilarious”.

Excess Funds – where are you when you’re needed most. Hopefully you make a miraculous recovery by the time we hit Milan.
